KVM switches allow you to control multiple computer user consoles over cat5 utp or ip connections. Our most popular units are the Novaview with LCD KVM Drawer option. Latest KVM switch developments include 4 pc on one kvm screen. and IP based KVM Matrix Systems. We also have new single and dual link DVI USB KVM Switches and plain DVI Switch or HDMI Switch units. Our switches include Solaris Ready certified Serial Console Terminal servers and device managers.
KVM, USB & Serial Extenders
Extend PC, Serial, USB or KVM Switch over CAT5/UTP or IP for remote control at one or more remote points. It is now possible to use Avocent IP KVM Extender to extend the full computer desktop over tcp/ip. These systems can be managed with the DM2000 appliance to provide a full network based kvm extender solution. Other Extenders include direct USB2.0 extenders as as well as Serial RS232 over Cat5 and Serial over IP. The range also includes SDI to Fibre and DVI over Fibre
Remote IO & Monitoring Sensors
Monitor a range of sensors for temperature / humidity / water and more and display results via web or snmp. Units allow network based control and include remote IO monitoring of dry contacts. Although commonly used as network temperature sensors for monitoring of temperature and humidity for oh&s reasons it also also possible to build industrial monitoring solutions with our RS485 based Poseidon Sensor range and also send IO Signals over ethernet with the IO Controller.
Video Splitter
A Video Splitter allows you to divide one or more video input signals between multiple remote screens for display of digital signage content,
system monitoring displays, information directory boards or advertising to multiple digital
sign monitors.

Remote Power Control
