KVM Extenders allow you to remotely control Keyboard Video and Mouse outputs from one or more computers over TCP/IP Network connection or direct UTP/Cat5/Fibre Cable.

KVM Extenders allow remote extension of signals such as VGA / PS2 / USB / Serial / Audio and more. This can be used for either remote desktop applications or for controlling a single PC from more than one location (such as office and factory floor). KVM Extenders remote the valuable CPU / Computer unit and expensive components such as drives that can be subjected to dust / heat and other environmental damage from the production environment. We have extenders made by Minicom, Avocent , Rextron, Scene Double and others - all have their specialities. Minicom Extenders include a mini extender in a small size dongle. Avocent have a number of extenders for the broadcast industry with support for appliances such as avid keyboards, Scene Double specialise in VGA/USB units that extend USB peripherals over UTP.
