The Avocent Emerge ECMS1000 extender allows USB keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) peripherals to be extended up to 300metres away from the computer. This KVM Extender supports VGA / USB / PS2 / Serial and Audio.

The ECMS1000 uses standard UTP cabling making installation simple and cost effective. The ECMS1000 receiver can be rack mounted, desk mounted or mounted on the back of your monitor.

The Emerge ECMS1000 removes the requirement for technical power in the edit suite, resolves the problem of high ambient noise in the creative space (edit suite or control room), and eliminates ability to copy content to unsecured storage devices in the creative space eliminating chances for bootleg copies of material.
