The family of EVS products (Enhanced Visualization Solution) is designed specifically for high performance video and KVM connection environments. Options include DVI, Dual Link DVI, Three & Four head, USB2.0, Firewire, Serial and audio.

Thinklogical's EVS line of fiber optic KVM extenders offers advanced features, superior performance, cost-effectiveness, and full peripheral compatibility. The EVS extension system is designed for high performance, video intensive applications, where a variety of non-video desktop peripherals may be required. The basic EVS model has an integrated 4-port USB 1.1 hub extender, which allows for plug compatible, full speed, USB 1.1 peripheral devices to be used with virtually any computer source located within 1000 meters (3280 feet) of the user console. Building upon the base model, the EVS product line also offers factory options such as an integrated 4-port high speed USB 2.0 hub (U series) or a Firewire 800 connection (F series). For security conscious customers, who do not permit full or high speed USB or Firewire 800 on the desktop, the EVS H series limits peripherals to HID signal rates. The EVS series supports RGB and/or DVI video formats in single-link and dual-link DVI with unsurpassed image quality.

For general purpose use, supports any full speed USB (1.1) peripheral, including thumb drives and tablets.

HID Version:USB 1.0 (HID), PS2, Serial (RS-232), and Analog Stereo Audio (bi-directional)
Designed for security conscious customers. No physical support for USB thumb drives or other full speed devices. Supports human interface devices only, such as keyboard, mouse, and tablets. USB 1.1 (or Original USB) supports up to 12 Mb/second.

USB2.0 Version:USB 2.0, USB 1.1, USB 1.0 (HID), PS2, Serial (RS-232), and Analog Stereo Audio (bi-directional)
Full support for USB high speed (2.0) devices, such as DVD drives and high speed storage and desktop peripherals. Supports full 480Mb/second.

Firewire Version:Firewire 800, USB 1.1, USB 1.0 (HID), PS2, Serial (RS-232), and Analog Stereo Audio (bi-directional)
Full support for Firewire 800. Firewire 800 is a cross-platform high-speed serial data bus that can move large amounts of data between computers and peripheral devices. It features transfer speeds of up to 800 megabits per second (on machines that support 1394b). Ideal for use with multimedia peripherals such as digital video cameras and other high-speed devices such as hard disk drives and printers.

All models are available with SC-, ST-, or LC-type fiber connectors.
